@ University of Arkansas

Description

A photograph of a well-dressed and -groomed boy standing straight. He wears a pinstripe double-breasted jacket with sharply-pressed sleeves, knickers, and tidy, buttoned boots. He holds a crisp, brimmed hat at his side. In this, the second of two images intended to portray the positive influence of Southland, the same boy, Anderson Johnson, is photographed looking better-groomed, wearing better clothing and standing more erect.
