Lipsky, Michael

Description

This folder contains a SNCC incident summary for August 1964; an undated letter from a volunteer (Lipsky?) on intimidation and arrests by sheriffs and police; "Mississippi Freedom Summer: Fact Sheet" (Aug 1964); a minute-by-minute account of the Holly Springs "Freedom Day"; guidelines for writing a final political report; unattributed essays presumably written by black students, such as "Everyday Experiences with White People"; and a moving letter fragment by Lipsky (?) describing the violence that is the essence of Mississippi to him.
