Description

Film starts with title card ''1957 Santa Claus Parade.'' Scene of crowds lining a street as a drum majorette leads a marching band with a baton, stops and waves to crowd. Other marching bands pass the camera. Woolworth's, Lane Drug and Brinson storefronts in the background. Young lady holding a sign that reads ''Allendale Fairfax'' marches next to a girl with a baton. A group of girls march by holding flags that appear to read ''Barnwell,'' followed by majorettes who dance and spin in front of marching band. Other groups of girls slow down, spin batons and do a quick routine for the crowd. African-American marching band led by majorettes appear in the parade.
