Holograph, signed with initialsLetter written in pencilWilliam Lloyd Garrison is staying at the home of John and Hannah Cox. He names the visitors in the neighborhood and their hosts. He describes his journey to Longwood. William L. Garrison went to the Nation's office with Richard Davis Webb and found Wendell Phillips Garrison there. Samuel Joseph May joined them and was sick on the train going to Longwood. On his journey from Philadelphia to Longwood, William L. Garrison had a long conversation with Sarah Pugh and Mary Anne Estlin. Miss Estlin and Richard Davis Webb and going to see Thomas Garrett. Henry Anthony narrowly escaped serious injury from a fall
