Holograph, signed.Deborah Weston compares the interior decoration of the homes of Rev. Wilson and Rev. Nathaniel T. Bent. She tells about her experiences gathering signatures for anti-slavery petitions. Deborah is very busy. Abby Osgood is teaching Deborah to learn Italian. Deborah said: "I can't see as my cares wear upon me any, as I am fatter than I was when I first came." She reads the "Emancipator" magazine. She comments: "That piece in the Liberator by John G. Whittier was republished in the Democratic paper here." Deborah has much to say about the Rev. Choules and the Rev. Nathaniel T. Bent.
