Description
Discussing the state of his housekeeping during her last visit and the preparations in the city for a procession the following week. He believes the procession is a premature celebration of peace not yet established. He is encouraged that future fellow citizens in the Philippines will be fairly treated and references the Mogui Indians in Arizona and the treatment of Chinese immigrants and Negroes in Philadelphia within the discussion.
