Chicago: Cleveland Mayor Carl Stokes (L) and Rev. Jesse Jackson, national head of Operation Breadbasket, chat together before Mayor Stokes delivered an address in connection with Black Expo in Chicago 9/30. Mayor Stokes called for a 'black political strategy for 1972' which 'may mean the actual running of a black person for president.' Black Expo is a commercial exposition at Chicago's International Amphitheatre, which is sponsored by Operation Breadbasket.
