Bond, May 5, 1683, of _5 from James Lowden to the county treasurer of Middlesex, Mass., Samuel Andrew, to prosecute Thomas Joseph, Lowden's Indian servant hired for one year, for stealing several items and running away. Preceeding the bond is a statement by a magistrate ""G J: R Assise"" summarizing James Lowden's complaint and Thomas Joseph's confession.
