Picture taken from over the Yeager Jewelry Store, with the assistance of the owner, H. I. Yeager. This band, all colored ladies at marching and the many who heard them in their concert were very pleased. The girls started from Fort Des Moines, make excellent music and play with the skill and enthusiasm. They are clever at marching and the many who heard them in their concert were very pleased. The girls started out with little or no help from anyone and soon developed into real playing and marching band.
