Deeming his "general plan" for the "Encyclopedia of the Negro" project on the whole "admirable," offering light criticism of the letterhead designed therefor, and discussing briefly the process of appointing the members of the Editorial Staff; informing him (in confidence) of a plan for "a series of bright brief biographies of notable Negroes" and describing its presumed trajectory and subjects.
