Description
Brochure outlining "Plans For The Third Annual Children's Inter-Racial Camp" at Deception Pass State Park, Washington including purpose, location and equipment, leadership, campers, cost, program, health and safety, what campers should bring, protection, transportation, visitors, and how to apply. Quote from document: "The purpose of the Children's Inter-Racial Camp is to strengthen and develop in children the desire to know and understand others, through experiences that eliminate separation and segregation. ... The question of minorities is one of the great historic issues of our time. There is no single simple way to settle it. It demands large action by government and continuous small creative reconciling action by individuals."
