Description

Holograph, signedAnne Warren Weston traces her journey from Brunswick to Boston. She regretted missing the Non-Resistant meeting and Lucretia Mott in particular. Anne found Mrs. Lydia Maria Child visiting at West Street. Great preparations are being made for the Anti-Slavery fair. Anne is "mentally fagged." The Middlesex meeting will be held at Reading tomorrow. The "battle of the North Worcester division will be fought" at Boylston. Mr. John Pierpont has been dismissed and Francis Jackson is trying to get another church for him. Harriet Martineau has returned from Italy in poor health, but will write another novel when she gets better
