Gibbons explains his relations with Lydia M. Child and the National Anti-Slavery Standard. He reports on the work of Dr. Erasmus D. Hudson and their poor opinion of John Anderson Collins, who lost the confidence of Abby Kelley [Foster]. He discusses David Lee Child and William Adam as possible editors of the Standard
