Alvin Parallel Glider of Everett Bratcher

@ Missouri Historical Society

Alvin and Company

Alvin Parallel Glider of Everett Bratcher. This tool is a good representation of Everett Bratcher's 35 year cartographic career at the Defense Mapping Agency, as well as his 3 years serving as a Tuskegee Airmen with the 332nd fighter group in World War II and his lifetime interest in air and sea navigation. A parallel glider combines the functions of a parallel straightedge, triangle, protractor, T-square, and compass in one.
