Chapman will receive a letter from George Combe, "which may be published if thought suitable," as well as two books contributed by him. Combe also sends a parcel for Dr. [Samuel Gridley?] Howe of Boston. Referring to contributions (for the anti-slavery fair), Wigham mentions especially the autographs of Joseph John Gurney and his wife. Frederick Douglass is expected in Scotland shortly, and Henry C. Wright is expected in Edinburgh in a few days
