Description
Entrances to the Court Street Station of the East Boston subway tunnel are seen to the right and left of the courthouse entrance. Young's Hotel is on the left side of the image. The building in back of the courthouse is old Boston City Hall. Text on the white sign on the right reads "Historic Boston Trolley Trips." The old Boston Court House was the site of cases involving Shadrach Minkins, Thomas Sims, and Anthony Burns in response to the 1850 Fugitive Slave Law.
