Title supplied by cataloger.Not long after Joan Barry filed the first paternity suit against Chaplin, federal prosecutors brought Mann Act charges against Charlie Chaplin in relation to Barry; he was acquitted.Witness C. M. Fitzgerald, the district supervisor for the Pullman Co., to testify in the case against Charlie Chaplin, charged with violating the Mann 'White Slave' Act. Photograph dated March 27, 1944.
