White asks if Du Bois would be willing to publish an article on "Librarianship as a Profession" in the Crisis; explains that Miss Sarah C. N. Bogle, secretary of the American Library Association, is planning to establish a library school at Atlanta University; Bogle believes that "not enough of the right type of colored men and women are being trained for the increasing number of libraries."
