Holograph, signed.William Lloyd Garrison refers to Oliver Johnson's letter and an undisclosed decision. Garrison writes: "I think we have decided wisely, and that great and general relief will be experienced as soon as our announcement appears in print." Garrison seems to favor postponing certain anti-slavery meetings. They are not holding the New England Convention.Includes an envelope with the delivery address: Oliver Johnson, Anti-Slavery Office, 5 Beekman Street, New York City.
