Description

A group of African American (Black) men pose at the edge of the Platte River in probably Lincoln County, Nebraska. The men are probably servants or dining car attendants for the restaurateur H.M. Kinsley on the Union Pacific excursion to the 100th meridian. The men wear suits, collared shirts and caps.
