Many of the documents in this folder have been read and annotated by Lucile Montgomery. They include the following: A freedom school newsletter from Greenwood. Letters asking for help with rebuilding a freedom school and for people's bail. Thank you letters for books sent. A list of materials needed by freedom centers. An unattributed document on "What We [SNCC] Can Do on [College] Campuses." A Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions pamphlet called "Jobs, Machines, and People." Louis Lusky's paper on "The Stereotype: Hard Core of Racism." Newspaper clippings about police brutality in Dallas County, Alabama, and Congressional passage of an "Appalachian Bill." A SNCC memo about plans to boycott the Hammermill Paper Company which had declared its intention to build a plant in Selma, Alabama, "because of the character of the community and its people" and because of its associations with George Wallace and the White Citizens Council; a list of the corporation's officers and directo
