A radio advertisement for Harvey Gantt for Senate created late in the race. The announcer says that Gantt is focusing his campaign on working families, believes that education is a path to opportunity, and wants to protect Medicare and Social Security. He says that Gantt's opponent, Jesse Helms, gets donations from corporations and foreign governments, has voted for tax breaks for companies that move jobs to other countries and loopholes for pharmaceutical companies, voted to cut Medicare and Social Security, and won't name his donators.
