Description
Holograph, signedTitle supplied by catalogerSigned, "J.A. Collins, H.G. Chapman, Oliver Johnson" as the "Committee of Arrangements."Collins invites May to attend two state conventions, the first to be held at Worcester on October 6th and 7th; the second at Springfield on October 8th and 9th. Collins says that these conventions will be very important, as the withholding of political support from pro-slavery candidates at the coming state and presidential elections and "the duty of Abolitionists generally in relation to pro-Slavery parties" will be considered. He adds that Garrison and Rogers will give an account of their tour in Great Britain
