Holograph, signed with initials.Richard Davis Webb is staying with William Lloyd Garrison. Richard Webb, the son, sailed for California. His daughter, Deborah Webb, went to Ohio to visit the Suliotes. William Lloyd Garrison writes: "I really regret that you keep such meetings in countenance, in New York and Boston, by your attendance, and participation in the proceedings; ..." He criticizes Wendell Phillips's attempts to keep the "Anti-Slavery Organization" (American Anti-Slavery Society?) going.
