Description

Holograph, signed.This heavily edited copy is in the hand of Samuel May. The original was dated Dec. 10, 1851 from Boston.Title supplied by cataloger.At the request of Reverend John Parkman, May sends the editors of "The Christian Register" four letters that he received from Parkman, which he requests be returned to him. The letters relate "to the course of the Register in the matter of sending Thomas Sims from Boston into slavery."
