Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Theodore Parker writes to Matilda Goddard thanking her for her gift and briefly discussing his address to Quakers. He writes, "It is a little curious that the first time I have been called to any ecclesiastical gathering since the ordination at S.B. in 1841, should be on the 19th of May-'Progressive Friends' to think of that!"
