Donated by Phyllis M. RyanJoseph Lee was a member of the Boston School Committee and this is a letter to the editor he wrote in September 1930. Earlier in the month an article had been written that criticized the School Committee and this was his response. In his editorial he explains his position against busing and other efforts to curb segregation.
