Description

Holograph, signed. When Anne and Caroline Weston were at the Anti-Slavery office, W.M. Chace and Green came in. "We merely bowed." John A. Collins "did wonders last week in the way of raising money," collecting $700. Anne heard Mr. Starkweather, "a thoroughgoing Perfectionist," at Marlboro Chapel and attended John Pierpont's church in the afternoon. There will probably be an interesting Non-Resistance meeting. Lucretia Mott is expected. Wendell and Ann Phillips are still at Nahant. Sophia Davenport should be invited to Weymouth. She is soon going west and will be married in the fall.
