Georgina Falú Leonela Medina Baez
Description
Dr. Falú talks about how the racial relations in the United States affect the racial relations among Puerto Ricans, especially to the mulatto population. The scholar asserts that Puerto Ricans are not only discriminated by race but also by ethnicity. Dr. Falú argues that being in the United States gives the opportunity to the Puerto Rican diaspora to witness the fight given by the African Americans through the Civil Rights Movement which should serve as an example for the community.
