Holograph, signedTitle devised by catalogerManuscript annotated on recto, with "10" in pencil beneath Pillsbury's salutation to GarrisonParker Pillsbury forwards to William Lloyd Garrison notes from his review of the political activity of the Democratic Party in the state of New Hampshire, and states that they have canvassed the state "very thoroughly". Pillsbury opines that the electoral contest will be "very close indeed", and asserts that while the governor's post should be won by the Democratic candidate, the legislature has an excellent chance of being won by the Republican Party
