This is a bill of sale for a slave boy named Jack from Isaac Powers of Littleton to John Hancock of Lexington, dated 22 April 1728. The John Hancock associated with this document is probably the grandfather (1671-1752) of the signer of the Declaration of Independence. From the Hancock family papers
