Stephanie Tubbs Jones (1949-2008) the was first African American Woman to be elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Ohio. She served as a judge for both Cleveland Municipal Court and Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas. She was Cuyahoga County Prosecutor and a member of the Cleveland Public Library Board of Trustees.
