An oral history with Mr. Paul Chi Hoang, a graduate of Divine Word College at Epworth, Iowa where he majored in Philosophy. The interview focused on his experiences as a 1.5 generation Vietnamese who migrated to America for a better life. The Vietnam War caused many negative impacts in his life but also shaped his career goals. He believes that storytelling is an important aspect of preserving history and therefore, volunteered to participate in the Vietnamese American Oral History Project.Recorded Digitally
