Adams, Alton A
Description
In response to Adams' letter (mums312-b169-i196), Du Bois explains that the Crisis is not a newspaper, but a magazine, and "cannot, therefore, repeat in the Crisis the same kind of thing which has already been published by the weekly Press;" also notes that it is "idiotic to talk about any American Negro of position being prejudiced against West Indians."
