Description
Second day of hearings by the Drug Abuse Advisory Committee of the Food and Drug Administration about nicotine in cigarettes and other tobacco products. The Committee hears testimony from tobacco control advocates and industry sponsored scientists about whether nicotine is addicting, the dose response relationship in nicotine dependence and whether the Federal Trade Commission's tar and nicotine ratings reliably state the level of nicotine delivered to a smoker.
