Description
Waters sends Du Bois his business card and a copy of a letter, dated September 28, 1917, he has written to Mrs. Emily Hapgood in which he criticises the play "Granny Maumee" written by Ridgeley Torrance, argues that the play should not be presented on the stage this year and criticises Dr. Du Bois, James Weldon Johnson and Lester Walton for praising the performance.
