Description

Though the covers indicate that the book belonged to Likes, several people (including women) appear to have used it. The content is in no topical or chronological order, and no location is specified, though "Wilmington" has been written several times at the start. The notes give food recipes; home remedies; household tips; plantation activity; payments and purchases; and inventories of garments and linens, including a list of clothing owned by Sallie M. Blount.
