View of speakers, including Emory Giles (far left), founder of the Attica Memorial Foundation, at a prison reform conference in Atlanta, Georgia, conducted jointly by the Attica Memorial Foundation and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).Emory Giles was an inmate at the Attica Correctional Facility in Attica, New York at the time of a bloody prison riot in 1971. He later became an activist for prison reform and founded the Attica Memorial Foundation.
