Description

Addressed to Du Bois at the N.A.A.C.P. Conference in Pittsburgh; describing the terms of a bill concerning the state's school district's authority to establish segregated schools, relaying that it "was smothered by the Senate" and asking if she "did right" in her involvement in its dissolution; describing her position regarding the re-election of President Hoover -- she is against it "unless he turned over a new leaf and said and done something of value for my race" -- and asking if she has done right in this finding, as well.
