Description

Account of various depredations of the Portuguese slave raiders, and of the successes achieved by the Amerindians of the missions. Padre de Boroa makes the case for the arming of said Amerindians, arguing that Spanish control of munitions would ensure that these weapons would never be used in rebellion.
