Georgina Falú Leonela Medina Baez
Description
Dr. Falú discusses whether mulatos and Afro-Puerto Ricans have different experiences when they migrate to the United States. She asserts that there is not that much difference because most of them just identify themselves as Puerto Ricans and do not acknowledge their African roots. However, she points out that African-Puerto Ricans have an additional component that makes them more vulnerable to discrimination and racism.
