Holograph, signed.The beginning of this letter is missing. Richard Davis Webb presumably wrote this letter to Maria Weston Chapman.Mrs. Webb received a letter yesterday from Susan Martineau, Miss Harriet Martineau's favorite niece, saying that her aunt was suffering from a heart complaint. Richard Davis Webb would like to hear the particulars about Lucia Weston's health "and how the rest of the travellers like their new country."
