Description
The two sections of the, 3561st Service Unit at their formal oath-taking ceremony admitting them into the Women's Army Corps at Camp Atterbury, Indiana during World War II (No. 166 F). As prior members of the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps, these women had to be inducted to the new Women's Army Corps, which was formed on July 1, 1943.
