"Scene from Walter Dallas' Proposition Theatre Production.--Jim Alexander's annotations.Dressed in bright costumes and wigs, five members of the Neighborhood Art Center's house theater troupe, the Proposition Theatre Company, perform "Asafohene" in the Neighborhood Arts Center's multi-purpose room. The audience fills the room to capacity and tosses popcorn everywhere. Proposition Theatre presented the show June 15 and June 22-24, 1978. Director and playwright Walter Dallas ran the Proposition Theatre Company before pursuing successful careers as an off-Broadway director, tenured professor of drama, screenwriter, and artistic director.Titles provided by Jim Alexander."Horrified"--photograph verso.Record Contributed By
