Description

This folder contains a fairly random collection of newspaper clippings and appeals from 1963-1967. Among them are a few articles on racial violence in Mississippi and a document entitled "Source Material for Practical Methods against Segregation in the South." Other documents deal with police violence against blacks in Harlem, labor organizing at Duke University, a bill promoting fair housing in New York State, magazines directed toward organizing farm workers in California, and a 1967 appeal by the Concerned Black Students at the University of Wisconsin.
