'This photo was a promotion picture for Tommy Boy Records. This was the first promo pic used by the label for the group circa 1982. The label chose a black and white image to reflect an urban and gritty look. Pictured, from left to right: Michael Anthony Jones, Herb Jackson, myself Rodney Butler, Joseph Lites, and Melvin B. Franklin.' Rodney Butler also goes by Rodney B.
