Description
This is an oral history with Mr. Steven Bui, born in 1961 in Phan Thiet, Vietnam. He lived in Phan Thiet for most of his childhood before moving to Binh Thuy. He is the oldest of 10 other children in a Catholic family. He experienced hardships during the Vietnam War, including the loss of his uncle. His family then escaped to Vietnam in 1976 and moved to New Orleans, Louisiana. He discusses life in New Orleans and why he moved to California in 1983. He is now an investor in Garden Grove, California. He is married with two children.Recorded Digitally
