In 2017 I talk to my grandmother who was born in Jamaica, St Ann and currently living in Brooklyn, New York. She talks about her childhood growing up in Jamaica with her siblings. She talk about relationships that she had with her mom after her mom left her and her siblings in Jamaica when she when to England to look for a better life to support her family . She also talked about the challenges she faces without her mom and the things her mom faces as a woman without her kids around her the emotions and feelings she felt about her distance from her kids.
