Briefly noting the controversy surrounding the invitation to Rev. Joseph Lyons Ewing to become president of Lincoln University, and summarizing the general opposition thereto, based on the reverend's "lack of experience in administrative affairs" and "unfamiliarity with conditions and larger problems dealing with the Negro."
