Combs, Marianne
Description
Playwright August Wilson has been chronicling the tragedies and triumphs of the African American experience one decade at a time. He wrote many of those plays while living in St. Paul. The Penumbra Theatre has dedicated it's 25th anniversary entirely to Wilson's plays. It wraps up the season with the area premiere of his latest work, King Hedley the Second. Minnesota Public Radio's Marianne Combs reports.
